Clark County, located in Nevada, has a population of around 2,266,000, with most residents living in the Las Vegas Census County Divisions, which covers 476 square miles. It is the most populous county in Nevada, making up 74% of the state's population and 7% of its land area. The Colorado River forms the county's southeast boundary, and Lake Mead is formed by Hoover Dam along much of this border.
